The Society meets four times per year in March, May, September and November.

Meetings are held in the Beaton Hall, Methlick and refreshments are usually served.

Over the years a very wide range of speakers and presentations have been enjoyed. There have been talks on local history, archeology, the Doric language, farming, tracing family history, flying, medicine, the local ambulance service and many other topics.

The first meeting of 2018 will be held on Tuesday 6th March in the Beaton Hall. The speaker will be John Brough and his topic is “Tales of an Air Traffic Controller on Tiree”.
